Nissan Almera

Postby pug306 » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:01 pm

Hi, I hope you can help.

Nissan Almera Y reg 2001 N16 with a YD turbo diesel 2.2 engine.

This engine has a Japanese bosch fuel injector pump part number 0 479 504 012

The electronically controlled mechanical fuel injection pump.

The cars MIL light obd says spill v control circuit fault.

The spill solenoid/electromagnet between the inj pump pipe stubs has part number 479 763 1220, what would be the correct resistance value of this please ?

Fitted below this is the stop control ?? solenoid/electromagnet part number 0281 002 173, what would be the correct resistance value of this please ?

I understand that these pumps have a common fault, the transistor that powers the spill solenoid "blows".

I have cut the wires going to these 2 solenoids so I can test them, resistance wise.

Can you help please.

Its from the lads car so he can drive to work rather than motor bike to work, much less stress and worry for me, as car drivers rounds here are ...well.....crazy !

Any all help greatly appreciated, we have been after this info and a second hand pump for months now, finding a unicorn is much easier me thinks.
