This is AFR from stock Renault. What you can say about red digits?

I'd say in reality that they'd never be reached - Look at the airflow they are at and the RPM.
Even if they were, they would be passed through so quickly as to hopefully not make much of a difference - Maybe they are like that to get the turbo spooling up?

You tend to want to run 'rich' to get the turbo spooled up. Though how rich is rich? I say smoke point is ideal in transients if you can tune to that point. A fine haze and then just off haze through the power band at WOT from low rpm is completely ideal in my view, otherwise you are probably just pumping more air than you need, which is a waste of energy.

It's hard to see patterns in data like that, 3D map representations are nicest for looking at the trends, and usually the turbo boost threshold locations are richer than other areas, no doubt to get the turbo spinning. In TunerPro you can set the plots up so they run into red if you dip under 15:1 for example... makes quick checks of these maps really easy. I've got tuner pro checking axis too, as sometimes maf scales vary impacting the actual AFRs if you try use fixed axis for all smoke maps.

It'd be interesting to throw up lots of smoke maps in AFR form with pre-set colour banding, say red at 15:1, green at 20:1, and yellow at 17.5:1 or something?!

This is Smoke map from which was calculated AFR table.
Stock Espace have enough unusual maps compare to other car with the same G9T 2.2dci
Not only smoke map.
I have 3 different version firmware from this cars, all with same maps.
