No gains of power after remap (EDC15C2)

Postby MothaHDI » Fri Jan 05, 2018 3:06 pm

Hi! So today i did my first remap after 5 month of study and the result wasnt what i expected... I have a Peugeot 406 2.0 HDI 90hp and i want to remap for at least 110/120hp but after remaping, i tested the car and the result wasnt surprising...

I'm using ECM Titanium (i know everyone says its a sh*t) but for a beginner i think its the best because it's much simple than winols.
I followed a guide of remaping my engine, except 2 maps (oil temp and water) because ecm dont have them.

I will leave the files down below. And please can anyone say what am i missing?

and sry for noobiness

It's probably down to the two maps, they limit IQ according to fuel temp. I'm not on a computer at the minute so can't look but I'm assuming you modified both sections of data? Never used ECM but Winols isn't hard to learn, plenty of guides out there.

There are a lot of guides on youtube for Winols which explain how to select the maps properly. Once you get the hang of it and start to build up a description profile it will make finding the rest easier.

Looking at your file the fuel temp limiter is at 7733C 4x8. There are usually two but I only see one in yours, and also only one bank of data. Im interested what this change is because i have seen it other maps before-

You need to rise values in gray space on photo. Your IQ limiter to fuel temp map is in red frame on the photo (adress 7733C 4x8) and the next one is Drivers Wish map you already edit. There are many tutorials on YT try it.
