like shooting said winols make it automaticly. to edc15 you can use checksum corrector.

+1 For WinOLS, automatically corection checksums, but if you using tool like Kess, your interface do it during writing file.

firefox and other browser can also calculate your checksums

on the last high lighted line you can see

extracted/ from dump/ calculated

the left value is as found in eeprom
and the right the server calculated the checksum for the uploaded file

the free programm VAG EDC Suit 1.3.9 is calculating the checksum automatically, but only EDC15.
