Mpps error message "no external powersource found" aaargh starting to get frustrated.
Double, Triple, quaddruble checked everything, checked mpps soldering no flaws to be seen, powersource works ok, but still no success. Really considering about planting agr wastegate turbo back or propably just riding my bike for the rest of my days...********

mate on your picture i can see you have a eprom adapter on your 29f400 thats why you cant write...
you need to desolder eprom and solder it back direct on pcb..

Ok, thanks! Is it possible to just solder for example Alh`s eprom direct to pcb and get it work properly?

I made same swap in Bora from AGR to ALH...
Just bought ecu from Skoda ALH, code it with VAG Commander and VCDS :)
Car runs till this day.

ECU from ebay 45e :)

yes!

just desolder eeprom from the adapter and solder it direct on pcb.

Your MPPS does not receive 12V power. See what voltage shows the program MPPS.

Hi!

Do you remember those Ecu numbers?

What i have read from forums and possibly understood is that older ALH`s have 80-pin, immo-2 ecu and newer 120-pin immo-2/3. There is a rumour going around that some of the oldest ALH ecu`s don`t have Immo at all but really that sounds like crazy talk.

I have one ALH ecu (038 906 012 K) with a different pinout, presuming that this is the 120-pin version? Too much hazzle to get this work..

So if somebody has the knowledge which ALH ecu`s are applicable to swap AGR (038 906 012 K) ecu, which numbers/letters have to match to get it up and running?

If someone has suitable ecu for sale i would be interested, even more so if immo is deleted!

VW Bora 99 -> ecu 120 pin -> (try to find numbers later)
Skoda ALH -> ecu 120 pin -> 0 281 011 309 - 038 906 012 HA

Plug and play, just tead PIN with VAG Commander and add keys with VCDS or IMM0 0FF.

Found some problem with N75 and pipes, but ETKA has all schematics :thumbup:
