No communication in PP2000 after remap. Car runs fine though

Postby MembriyO » Sat Jan 20, 2018 2:29 am

RHY DW10 2.0 90cv 206

Before flashing my first bin, my EDC15C2 would not be recognized by PP2000 on its own. I always had to go through the F3 override. Now that I've gone back to the ori maps (it had a hackish remap since forever) with only the EGR off, it is recognized immediately.

But it won't allow me to read ECU parameters in real time. Message is No communication.

If I revert to other files in my archive, again it is not recognized but parameters like MAF, IQ, RP, etc CAN BE READ in real time through PP2000.

WinOLS doesn't apply any checksums, even when I go through the process manually by clicking on the icon at the status bar. It says all is fine. Just the two single values are changed. I checked my file with a simple checksum app and it also says it's OK.

Only thing that I see different is the ECU info displayed in my Galetto clon interface... Same Hard and Soft versions but a few random signs are also shown.

I googled around and there doesn't seem to be any relevant info.

So... Any ideas? Is there a checksum missing? Or perhaps the EGR Off version was not exported properly?

Chris

Just to be 100% sure the program/interface is working properly, can you plug it in to a friends car and try that?

sometimes in exactly that car (also in Citroen C8) with same electronics
you need just to disconnect the battery and that helps if there is all
ok with your PP2000...
