your file has totally different single value rail limiter logic and also pretty different when you start to dig for power above 200hp, as it also contain rail diagnosti limiter wich stucks at 1350bar...this file has no suitable damos, and must be done by experience. In his file there are 9 limiters. 4 at lower rail pressures and 5 at higher pressures.

Anyway, these engines (I've seen it in Citroen C5) are notorious for shutting down, for any reason, then a 15 or 20 seconds pause is needed. Maybe even 30s. I've seen it done while driving...

The problems with the motor in the fuel tank - constant
The problems caused by pitting and erosion in the common rail pump - constant
the problems with the high pressure regulator valve plugging -- constant
the problems with fibres from fuel filter getting into the CDI high pressure system!!! OMG!
The problems caused by the slow EDC15C2...

The injectors should be in identical condition in all operating pressures and flows, if those are not, the EDC15C2 is barely able to compensate for that correctly. It does compensate, but your high pressure regulation will likely be oscillating too much. (one injector leaks a lot, and the next one doesn't, there may be a huge pressure spike, confusing the control system, etc.)

The engines are good, but the turbo completely relies on the ECU properly calculating and limiting output temperature, otherwise those tend to fail a lot (broken into two parts, LOL!!!)

Next time you are going to pick a car, pick one with a HUGE VNT turbo which can be programmed to provide any boost, also a turbo-compressor has a higher thermal efficiency than a reciprocating engine, thus compounding those two can increase power and lower fuel consumption.

This answer has very quality content!!! This should be posted anyonewhere about EDC15;

The car shutdown mainly because of a pressure spike! The SVRPL where high enough. I have corrected it (with some mods like pre-control, SVRPL, etc. ) and the car feels awsome!

BTW about the car: The car unfortunatly doesnt have a MAP Sensor so its useless for me to remap the boost maps. Currently i'm installing a FMIC for reliability and more power.

Had the same problem on an HDI. It was the rail pressure sensor itself, little bit of dirt and oil on the pins. After good cleaning the problem was solved.

than you can convert the bin to be a map based...and inject fuel based on map pressure.
everything can be done.

Ok, is it worth? Cu'z remap its much simpler without map sensor. What are the advantages?
Do you think its worth increasing the rail pressure to >1500bar ? The car was made in 1999 and i have trust issues with reliability :roll:

you must know yuor car maximun rail pressure sensor to increase the rail pressure above 1500 bar
to prevent big pressure spikes increase rail pressure in small changes after 3000 rpm,for example;
3000 rpm- 1400 bar
3250 rpm- 1410 bar
3500 rpm-1420 bar
4000 rpm-1430 bar :thumbup:
