Difference edc16u1 and edc16u34

Hi,

can someone explain me what is the difference between this two ecu's and is it important for me when im writing my file with mpps.
I can read in edc16u1 and edc16u34 mode.

Hello
in the 16u1 driver you have a smoke limiter map, a
in 16u34 you do not have this map anymore.
both drivers have additional lambda maps.

this is incorrect , EDC16u34 has MAF,MAP & Lambda smoke limiters , from EDC16u34 Damos file by default Lambda maps are not used but smoke is corrected by IQ limiter and main smoke limiter is MAP but it's also corrected by MAF

these 2 ecu are both equippated on vag vehicles, the bosch edc16u1 is equipped on vehicles without dpf (therefore the injection sectors vary) while the bosch edc16u34 is equipped on vehicles with the dpf (year a different typology in software related to the diesel management )

again not correct there are many vehicles with this (EDC16U34)ecu without DPF (from 2005-)

I agree but the hardware edc16c34 was created specifically for cars with the dpf which were then fitted with the software without dpf, in fact it is possible to disable it with a single bit where you have
