I am new to this stuff,and was wondering if it is possible to remap one of these units,it is on a mini cooper sport,with multi point injection.I realise it is a bit older than the stuff you normally deal with on here,and maybe will require a different approach,maybe remove the chip from the board and flash it? If this is possible,can you please recomend a suitable flash tool?

i think you just need a eprom programmer and some new devices ...
