Thanks for the reply, I guess you just need a decent bluetooth obd gadget too? I use PP2K but it's very bulky :)

New tweaks. Lowered railpressure, lowered boost request low down at max IQ. Increased drivers wish maps to 90bhp standard low down.

Goes like its on rails now!!! Even with the maf activated!

62mg/stroke, 412kg/h and 2.45 bar boost max measured values!

So happy with this tune now

Extended log saw a peak at 65mg/stroke.

Generally 60 - 62. Soi peaked at 27ºBTDC and pre injection at 37ºBTDC.

Been toying around some more.

I've gotten feedback before from people for who I made such calculations and they came back saying they were quite accurate...
tempted to get the Lingo dyno'ed if these calculations are close...

So a friend came over with his 110bhp 1.6 HDi.

First time I had a real play with one and we uploaded the first version I made and went out datalogging before and after using FAP.

Initially it's pretty clear the way I calculate torque and power output from those datalogs are pretty much spot on.

After datalogging the first file, it was getting pretty late, so my friend went home and I told him I would study the data and tinker with the file for any improvements I could build on.

He was very happy with the small gain we had already made, since the power was very smooth and clean and it kept pulling higher up the rev range.

After a couple of weeks running with this map, we finally found some time to upload the new map I had at the ready and we went logging again.

The smile on his face was priceless, but I'll let the numbers speak for themselves.

If only my TD025 was a tiny bit bigger...
Kinda happy with the new results from increasing the boost some more, even tho the wastegate control map needs some work.
Did a 4th and 3rd gear log, here's some of the data.

So here's my reworked file version 27.

Seeing as my last 4th gear boost graph looked like sh*t...

Way better now and even though it was very hot outside (35°C) and the stock IC was getting heatsoaked really badly (84°C)
It made very linear and clean power ;)
