Hi all I have a Audi a3 2.0t and I'm putting a K04 on it. Is there any way I can transfer my security information onto a different map like an s3 map?, it's difficult because the s3 has different hardware to mine with mine the ea888 gen1 with timing on inlet only, and s3 has timing on inlet and outlet, The s3 map would be ideal as the the fuelling and boost would be correct for my engine as its the same block head etc. I'm just undecided on whether to pay for a custom map or try one from a professional tuner on here. Any thoughts?

You can't use an S3 map firstly because its a completely different ECU, S3 is MED9.1 and EA888 is MED17.5. Plus the fuelling would be completely off because the fuel system between the S3 and EA888 2.0T is not the same, HPFP and Injectors are different. There's not much that needs to be done on your ECU to get it driving well with a K04, contact a tuner and let them do the mapping to get the file perfect for your setup. Hi thanks for your help, I've just put the engine in and k04 the weekend its running fine I just need more power lol, I just need to find a map for my car now, can I use mpps,to pull my map off the car or will I have to use bdm, I have both but bdm is a mission.
