Speed limit via gear TL ?

Postby Milansvk » Mon Jun 25, 2018 1:02 pm

Hi guys. This weekend i will be doing Speed limit set on Fiat Ducato 2.3mjtd. It should have Bosch EDC16C39 ecu. I have to set up speed limit to 110km/h. Lets say that is 2000rpm in 6.gear. I want to make it via 6.gear torque limiter map like in attached picture. 1900rpm@ original value- 300nm, 1950@ 150nm and 2000RPM@ 0nm What do you think about it ? Somebody some experience with this method? It cant be dangerous for engine ? Because driver will hold it in highway this for hours. It cant destroy engine ? Or is here some better method how to set up speed limiter? Thank you very much for help
