Hi all,
I'm newby in ECU remaping and I'm starting with ECM Titanium. I have a Chrysler Voyager 2.8 CRD 150vc auto, and I would be interested to know how I can make a modified file to:
- Mainly lower fuel consumption.
- Lower the torque to protect the automatic transmission.
- Deactivate the EGR electronically (Currently I already have a file with just this).
What re-programming options do I have? To lower the fuel consumption you always have to raise the engine torque? Can I get both?
With Voyager 2.8 CRD auto I get this maps with my original file:
- Injection at part throttle (1): Flat with 4500 value, ¿is correct?
- Rail plessure (1): Normal ascending values (3000 min, 13500 max).
- Injection at part throttle (Map 1) (Boost x RPM) (1): Normal ascending values (0 min, 1207 max).
- Injection at part throttle (Map 2) (Boost x RPM) (1): Normal ascending values (0 min, 1207 max).
- Phase of injection (1): Values from 0 rpms to 3000 rpms. Max value in 9500. Flat with 9500 to 800 rpms, flat with 9500 value in 100. (EGR?)
- Fuel during acceleration (1): Descending values (0 min, 8036 max).
- Fuel during acceleration (Map 2) (1): Descending values (0 min, 10000 max).
- Turbo pressure (1): Normal values.
- Torque limiter (1): Normal values.
- Torque limiter #2 (2): Flat with 10000 value.
- Torque limiter #3 (6): Flat with 10000 value (no min 0, no max 4800).
And with a Voyager 2.5 CRD manual ECU file I get this maps:
- Injection at part throttle (1): Normal values, different from 2.8., in 2.8 this is flat.
- Rail plessure (1): Normal values, different from 2.8.
- Injection at part throttle (Map 1) (Boost x RPM) (1): Same that 2.8.
- Injection at part throttle (Map 2) (Boost x RPM) (1): Same that 2.8.
- Phase of injection (1): Values from 1000 rpms to 2300 rpms. Max value in 13100. (EGR?)
, different from 2.8. (I can't load map from 2.8, not corresponding).
- Fuel during acceleration (1): Same that 2.8.
- Fuel during acceleration (Map 2) (1): Normal values, different from 2.8.
- Turbo pressure (1): Same that 2.8.
- Torque limiter (1): Normal values, different from 2.8. Bigest values at low rpm.
- Torque limiter #2 (2): Same that 2.8.
- Torque limiter #3 (6): Same that 2.8.
Between 2.5 and 2.8 the differences are in:
- Injection at part throttle (1): Different values, in 2.8 this is flat.
- Rail plessure (1): Different values.
- Fuel during acceleration (Map 2) (1): Different values.
- Torque limiter (1): Different values.
- Phase of injection (1): Different values.
is it crazy load 2.5 maps in 2.8 ecu ?? anyone know why injection in 2.8 is flat ??
Thanks.
