I wondered in which section to put my problem ... A month ago I wrote on "ecu-tuning-requests". I chose the offer of one of the users. I paid for it, I got a file. Unfortunately something was wrong with it because performance, max speed, 0-100 acceleration was realy the same as original.

The man is very nice, has good feedback on the forum, contact was earlier perfect. He wrote that He must to do an update of the damos and I had to have a ready-made file. Unfortunaly have no more contact from him :( I do not want to write who is this for now because I understand that there are different situations in life..

Car is smart forfour 454 cdi 1.5 (BOSH EDC16+)
There were oryginaly two versions 68ps and 95ps. Hardware is the same. I have limited 68ps.

I do not know about it but maybe there is something not standart that limits the power in the 68ps file ?

I have found also oryginal file from 95ps but sw this file is 1037379699 (my is 1037371904). Load this to my ecu is not good idea ? I can brick ecu yes ?

Hope you did not pay more than 10EUR for this file.

Your tuner made classic 5% tune on few maps and 10% on SOI maps, but because he is "profesional" he forgot to to make % tune on torque limiter map. You car still drives on original torque limiter and has the original power. :D
In my opinion this file was made by generic tuning sw were the sw finds the maps for the tuner. There was 0% knowledge used to make the tune.

Do not load sw from other cars because you can brick your ecu and it will cost you more then remap from a professional that knows what to do.

Looks like some maps not even defined correctly, they changed some limiters but went over onto another map lol

User have badge A, i have read his posts, comes from the country where my engine was made;) and he seemed sensible ...

I wonder what to do now - could anyone of you correctly make this file for a good price in relation to my adventures? If everything will be ok, I promise that the next car will also order him at a normal price and I write who is the author of the previous work :)
