Really easy ECU to read, OBD most tools will read, but for me BDM100 on the bench for full read is best

Thank´s for the help. I just read it with galletto and mpps but i start reading about problems flashing by obd with galletto and specialy mpps,so i will buy bdm 100 to make a secure copy and then flash it.Thank`s again.

Me too the same topic and I need help also.
Is somebody have some tips or experience about reading and writing EDC16C34 1.6 HDI

In the future I need to read and write this type of ECU but I don't know exactly could I do it with Kess V2 Master (clone)?
Second, whether if I able to read out the original file with Kess V2, should I need to write back the modified file with BDM, or somebody had some experience with OBD writing with EDC16C34? Is it safe?
It can be easier to do with OBDII.
I also have Galletto D1260 which is useful to remap EDC15 Hdis :) But I don't trust with EDC16 this is why I asking :)

Hi mate,
for this ECU the best way is BDM read and write.Some tools as MPPS and Galetto FGTech can fail.
MPPS will kill ECU.
