Need Help Quick Question.

Postby Dmantom » Wed Oct 24, 2018 12:32 pm

Hi, I have a quick question. Im doing a b180 cdi, and this is my second b180cdi w245. The first one when i did ecu write with kess the car's rad fan came on and started leaching power to the point that i got an ecu write fail, i managed to recover but i was wondering how do i keep the second b180 from turning on it's rad and doing the same thing. I feel like i got lucky last time and was wondering if i should pull the fan module fuse or unplug the radiator plug under the bonnet? I have a 12v 80a charger but i worry about voltage spikes. Thank You

some cars will do that, just connect a car battery to it to keep the voltage stable or a battery charger if you (access to) one
