I forgot how to...

Postby vince59 » Sun Mar 03, 2019 4:14 pm

Dear all,
I am back since quite a long time I was to the point of tuing an old punto engine and I have the files to do it.
I havo ORI as well as modified one nut I want to be sure how to proceed.
Need some help from someone that has more skills.
How do I extract the ORI from the ECU?
If I remeber correct the ori is just a part of the all ECU content...am I right?
How do I write the file into the ECU?
Dashboard or engine have to be switched on?

Any useful help would be much apprecciated.

To read out the ECU you will need a tool like Kess/Autotuner/etc.
The dump that you receive after readout can be send to a Remapper that will process your file.
Write the new file in and your car is "remapped".
