possible to swap maps

hello guys just looking for advice, can i swap maps from same ecu but differant firmware for ford?

here is setup.
original ecu sid 206 firmware 7t9g ( engine runs poor at low rpm map not designed for vnt & overboost.
updated firmware 9t11 runs perfect and map incorporated overboost for vnt.

new firmware engine has features which my engine has not got so can i get map from 9t11 and copy it over to 7t9g file overwriting original maps?
sorry for questions but just learning

No, they'll be deliberated for a certain setup, never a good idea to Cut&Paste maps from other SW versions

thanks for answer shooting,what would you suggest....
should i disable or remove any other dtc not relating to my engine and run newer calibration?

You need to calculate each map depending on many factors, have a look at the tuning guides
