Hi guys,

I have a question about to use Kess to use OBD read and Write an Audi B7 1.9 PD TDI 116 Hp EDC16U31 (2005)

Wheather is the OBD read and write is reliable for this ECU type. (I have a BDM equipment also)
I read and write for example Edc16C34 PSa via OBD without any problem.

Can i works with Audi Edc16 also? :)

Did BDM Backup, test via K-Line / OBD.
So you can backup if problem is there.

Ori. Kess V2 shouldnt have problem.

No problem with Kess v2 EU -> read/write

today i read one of my old U31 (it is T5 2.5tdi but unimportant) Kess and Ktag work.

Yesterday tried with one of my friend's B6 and read write through OBD no probelem.

I use and external battery as a backup for the car's voltage it holds 12,35 - 12,4 volts stable. :)
After writing waiting about 3 minutes until the start

Strange this ECU could be set how much success read/write you enable.. :O

Do you recommend the Kess v2 clone for read and write on edc16u31?

First BDM after OBD easy job I think but needs to be careful always ;)
