Hi, Im fairly new to using WinOLS.. currently using the demo version and looking to update to the paid version. Waiting to hear back from EVC about prices.

Ive been successfully using the demo version to find and change maps for the last month, no issues. As of yesterday the edit features stopped working... specifically 'change absolute', 'change relative' and 'change by edit'. They still appear in black in the menu but clicking on them does nothing. The +1 and -1 edit features still work, as does the interpolate feature. Im still working on the same project as before and everything else seems to be normal.

Is there some sort of restriction in the demo version where it cuts out featues after a month? Or is there something else I should look at? Ive already reinstalled the demo version and its still doing the same thing.

Any suggestions while i wait to hear from EVC? I was hoping to finish the current project on the dyno tomorrow :(

Can you post some pictures as an example? never had a problem with WinOLS ever

Heres an example... highlight some cells in an ignition map, right click to bring up edit menu, select 'change by edit'... and then nothing happens... the endit menu just disappears and nothing else happens.

When it was working it would bring up a new window where you can select the % or value you want to change the cells by.

Just had that problem only when multiple areas are selected.
Press "Shift+Del", then re-highlight and try again

Just tried shift+del and it didn't work.


Also tried reloading original data, opening a new project and reinstalling the software as well and its still not working. Really got me scratching my head.


Nothing changed when it stopped working either, just put the laptop to sleep and then when I restarted it it didn't work.

i think its because you are using the demo version, i think after some time it starts to block functions so you buy the full version

Hi, same think happened to me and i solved it this way:

1. uninstall winOLS demo
2. download installation file again
3. install winOLS demo from newly downloaded file

and i got everything working again
