hi im new to the forum and new to coding and im trying to delete or close off my egr on 2005 bmw 320d e90. ive already got and read alot of information on the subject from everywhere under the sun. but i need clear info on the procedures to follow. i have impa ncsexpert, ncs bummy. im ok with computers but have never done anything like this before, but im willing to try because its got me really interested in doing things myself to the car. so far ive taken the egr valve off and cleaned it and i have a blanking kit here too but dont know if its a waste of time or not to fit?

Need to close EGR by sw, because after mount blanking kit will get fault code.

thanks for the reply. if im understanding you right do you mean software? i had everything nearly set up on my pc windows 7 tried impa, got some error about api.32dll. so i managed to fix that by downloading the dll file and copy and paste into bin folder of impa win32. that seemed to fix impa. then i try to start up ncsexpert, i got the same message and when i repeated the steps for impa fll fix,
it gave me this message...(the procedure entry point__apitrace@8 could not be located in the
dynamic link library api32.dll.) can anyone help?
