Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 DPF/EGR off help

Postby matekhr » Wed Sep 04, 2019 1:37 pm

Hello,
this is my first post to the forum although I was dealing with EDC15 ECUs earlier.
I need a help with my own Chevy Cruze 2012. 2,0 diesel 120 kW. Recently I removed DPF filter and blanked EGR valve, because DPF was regeneratin every 2 - 3 days lately. I also got a reworked DPF/EGR off file and flashed it. The car now runs smoother with better fuel efficiency, no DTC.
But there's a problem with visible black smoke when I accelerate hard. If accelerating gradually there's no (visible) smoke, so I presume something is wrong or not complete with my DPF/EGR off file.
Could this be a problem with passive regeneration still burning or something else? Any help will be highly appreciated.
Original and OFF files are attached.
Thanks in advance.
