Hi all! I'm a Mercedes Bench repair tech and electronics hobbyist. I'm currently toying around with attempting to tune the old Bosch CIS-E modules Mercedes used in the late 80's / early 90's. I know this forum seems to revolve around much newer hardware but it looks like a very good general resource, as well as a place to share my successes and failures. As an MB tech, I am also quite interested in the tuning of their newer ECUs but my primary focus is really the older CIS module. I own a '90 300CE that I've done some engine mods to, and the stock CIS control is now the weak link. I also own a 300TE that I turbo'd and run on Megasquirt but wanted to go a different direction with the 300CE and tune the CIS to it's potential instead of going with a standalone. Sure, its not the easy way, but I enjoy the challenge of the puzzle. :D

If anybody has any general Mercedes questions, feel free to reach out. I've spent the last 20 years under the hood of those damned things.
