Hello, I'm new to this so any information will be helpful.
I'm looking in to mileage correction and so far based on what I gathered on internet I found out that modern cars keep the mileage stored in multiple places, not just the odometer. Also I found that often people disassemble the panel to get to EEPROM chip, to remove it and then re-code it, then solder it back.
Is there a way to reach and alter the mileage in all those locations where its stored without removing the EEPROM, just by connecting to the car via PC?
As mentioned I'm new to this so any piece of information will be helpful.
Also, before I get eaten alive mileage correction is not illegal here in UK as long as the buyer is aware that It has been altered.
