Bosch ME 2.1 beginner question

Postby bughysnk » Fri Oct 18, 2019 1:54 pm

First of all, I would like to say hi to this community, as I have just joined this forum, and just got into learning how all this works.

I ran into the following issue :

I have tried to extract the full map from the Bosch ME 2.1 that's running my Mercedes-Benz C180 111.951. When trying to connect via OBDII, KSuite which I am using along with a Kess V2 is telling me that in order to enable programming I need to connect wire 1 and 16 on the OBD connector of the car (I assume the female bit) or connect pin 3 (+12V) and pin 4 on the ECU (bottom right).

If I choose to connect wire 1 and 16, what's the best way to approach this? :?

Also - considering I am new into this, if you have any advice, I am open for it. :D

Thank you!
