Help Honda EDC16c31

resources/file/393 ....Original File

VNT wastegate issue.

Trying to calibrate actual with requested boost in openloop mode.
With this ECU increasing duty cycle % increases boost.
I lose control of the boost when the duty cycle drop below about 23~24%

I am thinking there is a Minimum N75 duty cycle stopping me opening the wastegate further.
But I cant find the bugger looking for 16x1 tables like the VAG has.
Anyone help ?

Thanks.....bit of a headache.

Dont know if I should be looking for decimal (factor 0.01) or percentage values (factor 100/8192) as the ECU uses both.
After 3k rpm it indicates the VNT duty as requested but the boost slopes upward in a diagonal unwavering line.
This is exactly what happens at a fixed duty cycle as though requested VNT% is ignored and replaced with a fixed value.
Minimum values used in OEM is 23.71% on VNT3 (active) and 20.61% VNT2 (inactive).

At 30mg this sloping starts at 3250rpm
At 25mg this sloping starts ay 3750rpm
At 20mg this sloping starts at 4250rpm
whenever VNT drops to less than approx. 24%

I also was fine tuning idle to 3000rpm....
at 30mg everything was fine upto 25.5%....but then the logs for map simply vanished when 24% was used.
6 seconds of logs simply vanished.
:wtf:
