reading Ktag/genius encrypted filed

I own a genuine slave Ktag and genius, is there any way I can see the files I receive from the master?

You will need to get master hardware if you wish to read and modify the files yourself.

All the files you have from your slave will be encrypted from the master that has sent them to you. Only that master can decode the files from your slave.

However if you want to see what a file looks like and practice mapping it yourself (although u wont be able to write it to a car with slave hardware) then scroll down to the "ECU Original files" forum and have a play.

I heard from someone that he uses a file writer from Portugal that can read my encrypted files, I just wondered how.

I will be having a play when I've done some more reading, I'd like to learn before I start messing with a few bits. :)

How does it feel to be 99% mistaken? :lol:

My program does not remove this tag, it decrypts a file that can be saved using MPPS when we read the protected ECU.
