Flash back to stock- need help

Postby beng688 » Sun Dec 01, 2019 10:24 pm

Hello everyone,
I have VW Passat 2010 2.0 tdi and I need to flash the ecu back to stock but I don't have the original file because the remapped was done by previous owner.
I would like to know what Information I need when I'm looking for original file.
Does the SW must be the same as written on my ecu??

my ecu details:
EDC17CP14 HW:H08
HW: 0281015029
SW: 1039S30090

If someone have this file and want to share it I will REALLY appreciate it

Read your ecu , post files here and i will try to back your file to ori.
You can't use file from internet even if is with same sw number.
Or go to dealer and do update online.

Thank you carbon,
I have a question though, Is it possible to back to ori even if the DPF was removed?
And with what software do you recommend reading the ecu?

Yes i can do what you want. You need to read that ECU in boot mode with FG Tech or K TAG or some professional tools without opening.

It will take me a while before I can upload the ori file. First I need to get one of the software.
I guess reading the file via obd won't be good enough, right?
