I am new here on the forum and am a beginner in this but trying to learn, and unfortunately my English is not 100% but I will try to explain my beginner questions as best I can!

I used to have two slave tools (Kess & AT) but have now switched me to a master tools instead. (you have to start somewhere 8-) )
My Old slave tools Is now connected to my new master tools.

Now while I am learning & training how to modify my files myself I have a guy that modifies all the files I send to him.

Earlier when I only had the slave tools, and would write an original file back to a customer who, for example, would sell the car, I often received a message saying "Could not Validate the ori file" or "Validate the ori file" something in that way. Then I had to send it back to my master and then after the validated it I could write it in.

I will now be using my slave tool at my other workshop, so I would need to learn how to validate an original file to my slave tool, so that they can load the ori into the customer's car if needed.

So… How do I do it? I have winols but no idea what to do. I know that I need to decrypt and encrypt the files before Sending them to the guy that modifies them or when I will send the tuned file back to my slave.

Is there anyone who could show how I do? It is certainly the simplest thing, (I imagine ) but I have no idea..

I'm new to ECU tuning..

I use KESS V2 master to download.. then use ECM titanuim to edit.

What software do you use to edit the file ?

Do you have WinOls ?
