Popcorn limiter MK5 JETTA 1.9TDI BKC

Postby roccoenzo » Sun Nov 24, 2019 2:31 am

Hi all new to tuning and such. I have a MK5 Jetta(2006) BKC engine and im struggling to find the SVRL value. I did a popcorn via the smoke map and it worked but there really wasn't an aggressive popping as such. The car currently has a 2.5" straight through downpipe with a 90 coming out of the side.
On a side note i think the car was already fiddle with when i first got it (100k+ engine) as the ECU has been flashed a few times prior to me flashing my maps for the limiter.

You need to do that on the torque limiter, not on smoke limiter, but wich ecu do you have?
It's possible that you have a single value rev limiter and don't need to use that way.

Look at $E874C value 5300.
Test and report

If MSA15 EDC15V with PLCC32 you could do by 0 cut fuel in torque limiter, but if EDC15P+ PD tdi or EDC16 there is a SVRL limiter called harcutpopcorn limiter usually 5300 rpm
