Hi all please help i have a 2006 golf gttdi 170 engine code bmn ecu siemens ppd1.2 i acquired a stage 2 remap file for my car i flashed to my car all went well no errors 100% write with mpps now my problem is when i turned the ignition on it said engine workshop them immobilizer active then car will start for 5 seconds then cut out and now my mpps will not let me write the original back to the ecu yes i did back it up when i try to flash i get acquired time not expired so i was told to wait for 30 mins so i did then tried again then it says invalid key i hope its not bricked i can communicate with the ecu not a problem with the mpps and vcds please help me get this back to stock form

Does VCDS show any error codes, Immobiliser related ones especially?

My first guess would be that the map file included a eeprom dump so the security no longer matches the dash, etc. and they need matching, can you post a copy of the original (pre map) file and the map file? Easiest way as if the pins & macs can be extracted you can match them using VCDS.

Just downloaded it, wrongly assumed you'd not put both files into the rar file.

Then you need to write it by BDM
