Could you confirm maps listed in previous post are the right ones? and if yes, could you give me some info wich ones offers best performance increase?

Today i`ve added a wire from pin24 of EEPROM outside the ECU, to have it available for boot mode without opening case every time.

Here is the original file:

For good performance you must change all the maps that i wrote about in my previous post.
For economy you can play with spark advance maps.
You can make your own remap, test it on the car and then post mod file and your findings so other members can comment.

Thank you for those informations.
Where to start from?
0A6C3 should be a good start? (9x12 map) -0.750000 factor, 72 offset
My DAMOS sais "optimum ignition angle" for this map (Angular position from end to BZM).

or maybe 95D3 (Lambda map pilot for setting lambda = 1 operation)?
I think this map is wrong on my damos because values are odd.

I think somethin`s messed up on my WinOLS or bins. Maps looks pretty odd. Without any logic.

Rpm ignition map:
Start: 8370
Size: 11x16
Factor: -0.75 * eprom
Offset: +72

X axis: 0.8 * eprom, 0 offset
Y axis: 160.00 * eprom, 0 offset

Lambda map at part load
Start: 82B4
Size: 16x16 / 8bit
factor: 0.007813
offset: 0
Precision: 4

X Axis:
Start: 92A4 / Mirror map
Data source: Eprom substract
Factor: 0.05
Precision: 3

Y Axis:
Start: 9292
Data source: Eprom substract
Factor: 40
Precision: 0

Are those correctly?

For what file are this maps?
In the file that you posted as ORI file for your car, the maps are at different locations. Factors are wrong.

post7058#p7058 this file is my original file from my car. Let`s take only this as example. Where to start from? If you have links to resources please put them here to be all in one place. I think i`m not the only one that wants to tune right this ECU.

Thanks.

All your maps are wrong. Looks like you have copied map locations from damos file to your file. In your file maps start from address 10 000.

Spark - Optimum ignition angle map at 155FB and 156AB. Factor 0.75

Thank you, but only 2 links works. Other resources are unavailable.
Any guide about maps, how do they look originally and what must be changed for a good chip tuning?

And, if downloading file into flash stops at a moment (power failure or system freezing) this ECU can be recovered without desoldering flash and write on bench?

I`ve opened my ecu last time and soldered a wire at pin 24. I have this wire available on engine bay so is easy to enter boot mode without opening ECU again and again.

what size is that map? because 16x16 and 16x12 looks wierd for me (a lot of spikes without any logic).

Boot mode can recover the flash, but if that fails then you must desolder the chip and program it with external programmer.

Spark maps are 11x16. They are the easiest maps to find. You have damos file for the car and you have problems with this maps. My advice to you is NOT to try tuning the car. You will destroy your engine. Gasoline engines can not take bad software settings like diesel can.
