Hello everyone, I'm very much a beginner at ECU tuning but have managed to read from my car which is a GOLF 4 66kw(90hp) ALH. I still don't understand everything but have few questions. When I open my file EDC suite it tells me "Injector duration maps missing" and "Checksum for file type EDC15V cannot be initialized !". Is this normal or did I do something wrong? Can I edit a map and then write? I don't want to brick my ECU and/or destroy my car. I'm uploading my file in hopes of someone helping and maybe teachning me in the procces. Thanks :wave:

Dude this is easiest map to tune, tons of files, tons of tutorials. Use vagsuite, you are using edcsuite. Torque limiter 51mg whole range, smoke 51 last two rows, start of injection advanced for 1 last row, turbo put 2200 last row. SVBL 2250. Boost pressure limited 150+ whole range. Find some maps and copy paste.

Thanks for your reply, I tried to make something, don't if it's good enough. I didn't mess with the turbo, do I need to? I dont want to change any turbo maps if it's not needed. I don't got money for another car so I need to play it safe. So could someone check my maps and tell me if it's safe? thanks

It is good, but you can get more gains. Smoke limiter will limit to 45mg. You can raise turbo to 2200mbar safely. And svbl of course

Raise it safely to 51mg, fuel pump can't provide more. In theory it can, but need to increase pump voltage. That engine is bulletproof, i had same but on octavia 1.9 tdi from 2004. Play with launch control, but it does little stress to mechanical pump.
