How to tune a non turbo gasoline engine

Hello guys :wave: i want to learn how to tune a non turbo engine, like the one i have on my r52 mini 1.6i, i dont want files to put on it, i want to learn how to do it the rigth way can someone give me a hand on this?
like what maps i have to tune and so on?
i really want to learn how to do it myself :)

advance spark and make lambda little richer but dont expect miracles...not much can be gained...in my opinion not worth it

Without forced induction not worth time to waste. Maybe with stroker kit - but still - no significant gain.

First get wideband lambda tool to set proper afr.
Logging logging logging, but from mine expirence ignition maps are well tuned for them.
So at the end only with hardware changes you will really get benefits.

But my mini One 1.6i is 90cv and the Cooper have the same engine and have 115cv, maybe because of that i can try push it, thanks All of tour for tour help :thumbup:

Thanks m8, i Will try it, maybe is better if i look at an original Cooper non s same engine file and compare to mine cause its the same engine
