hello everyone here

Hello!

I´m a guy from Iceland. Found this forum some time ago, but just registered recently.
I am working with electronics a lot, and I have worked with cars before - mostly mechanical, but I know my way around car electrics.
As I have been focusing on car electrics more often - and I see a need to expand my knowledge - I am eager to learn a new skillset - so I´m here for advice and help on what to start with regarding ECU mapping. I have galletto for programming, and various other programmers which I have collected over the years.
What I´m looking for is help on DPF and EGR removal, and basic mapping aswell - how is it done. Do I basically need a shi*ton of maps available for all the ecus I might tackle, or there is a better way of doing this ? I'm gathering pdf guides and watching tutorial videos to understand it - but I think I'm lost on where to begin.

thanks in advance, and have a great day.
