No need to tune DW maps below 60% ~ agreed. I use a different DW now which is much smoother, but curved and follows OEM contours at low % now.
EGR is active. No need to mod the egr flow maps like you did. ~ ??? Requqested EGR is set to 1500mg MAF on all maps/rpm/IQ (as per high load/rpm). Can you expand. Only other thing done was dropping the duty cycle as it was unnecessary ?
Lambda maps can be ori at low rpm and airflow. ~ True...Just trying to tidy up the OEM mess at the time
TQ to IQ is ok. ~ Ah....looked over it now. Found an IQ calibration tables that needed a 80mg column too
Injection duration maps need to be adjusted for more fuel. ~ More input if you dont mind. Duration maps are calibration maps ? They go upto 100mm3 or 83mg. So dont need to be touched ?
Boost maps need a lot of work. Tune the last part of the map. ~ Can you expand in this too. Only boost map 3 and VNT map 3 are active.
No rail and no soi maps. ~ I assumed as 55/60/65/70/75mg are all the same....and OEM uses 66mg they must be fine ? Or do you mean up the rail pressure to 1650bar or similar and smooth out the lumpy SOI/FRP maps ?
- In your ID maps you have big jump between IQ60 and IQ100, so the ECU will have problems calculating the correct ID for IQs between 60 and 80. The car will NOT have the correct power. To fix this you must add 2 more IQ columns. You must calculate the injection time fo IQ70 and IQ80 in all RPM scale and add them in the ID maps.More input if you dont mind. Duration maps are calibration maps ? They go upto 100mm3 or 83mg. So dont need to be touched ?
- You detuned the boost map at low RPM and load and there is no need for that. If you are doing moderate mod file then you need to tune boost at high IQs. VNT map must be tuned so the ECU can command more closing of the vanes. Doing this you will up the boost. Leaving VNT stock will give big headache to the ECU truing to get the desired boost. Can you expand in this too. Only boost map 3 and VNT map 3 are active.
- I meant upping the rail a bit, but you do not need to do this for moderate tune.assumed as 55/60/65/70/75mg are all the same....and OEM uses 66mg they must be fine ? Or do you mean up the rail pressure to 1650bar or similar and smooth out the lumpy SOI/FRP maps ?
