I need to get rid of the immobiliser on a vr6 2.9 ecu. I've got a chip programmer, done it for an ME 7.5 and EDC15 by searching and finding out, but not able tk find much on doing it for this one...
Would you guys be able to give me an idea of where to start looking tk bypass the immo? I havent made a dump yet, seen on some forums its the 24c02, so similar to the edc15's eeprom chip.

I've been googling the hell out of doing it for the ME3.8 and ME5.9, and came across a document I think on nefmoto.
Is this correct:

"Change A0 to 50..
When you see A0 in 0x000 and 0x040, recalculated the checksums, when you see A0 in 0x000 and 0x060 / 0x070, then change A0 to 50 and not calc the sums, change it to 9E
Example :
0x000 - 0x040 ( Calc sums )
Original :
A0 FF 57 F4
Off
50 FF B4 F4
0x000 - 0x060
Original :
A0 FF 57 F4
Off :
50 FF 9E F4"

I don't understand how the second value is calculated?

Think about your steps, document is right. Or did testing, its easy desoldering, writing... testing
