hello, I have bought a kess v2 5017 and read the ecu on my car 2007 leon 1.9tdi bxe edc16eXX, I have read it via kline protocol 64 because it didn't work on can(don't know for sure,it was my first time using it) . Now my question is, is it safe to write it with kess v2 on my car?(reading it was smooth, I thing it didn't show me sw number) I've seen some people saying they've got their ecu bricked or something. Need help since I'm a noob.

No issue with BXE engine ECU.Can write safe tuned file.Anyway check Id txt file provided by KESS

Thank you for your reply, I didn't but my kess from new and I thing it may be a clone(not sure, didn't pay too much for it). It read my sw number when I only selected ID via kline if I recall corectly. I just want it to be safe, I don't thing I've save the first file that kess gave Me. Thank you.
