I bought a few days ago a MPPS V13.02. I already have seen some videos how to use it. I have some questions to someone who can help me:

1º Is it possible to get a custom map file for the BMW 318D E46 - 85KW ?

2º I have read a lot about tunning the ECU but is it very hard to try DIY with customs map files ?

3º What is te worst scenario if something could go wrong and is it normal to happen?

4º Where can i download some maps?

I'am newbie so please understand my fears

Hi ,
1 - yes, you can buy one from professional tuner or download free tuned file from internet, but you must bе very careful because there are bad files.
2 - one possible solution is to buy tuned file from professional tuner, compare it with your original file and start learning, forum will help you :)
3 - i think the worst case is to have problem with writing and brick the ecu, in this case the engine won't start.
4 - in general files are differ in ecu manufacturer code and software version, so search in internet for files that are from same ecu like yours (have same ecu manufacturer code).
