Hi, I've been reading a lot lately trying to understand this mess :lol:
After a lot of reading and thanks to this forum, finally, I think I've found the correct addresses for disabling egr and swirl flaps.
Please could you check it before I flash it to my car? Don't want to kill the ecu if some mistake was done :?
I think the checksum is OK, winols supposely corrected it.
The car is an Alfa Romeo 166 JTDm 2.4 185ps from 2006 (CF4), EDC16C39 ECU, almost the same as the 159 but without DPF :thumbup:

Theorically the maps are:
EGR: 1c4b08 1c4b64 1c4bd4 1c4b3a 25x1
Swirl flaps: 1e79c4 16x14

Well, I crossed my fingers and flashed it.
Used MPPS 13.02, selected Marea 2.4 JTD edc16c9 driver, because on Alfa 166 only EDC16c8 was shown.
With that driver it correctly recogniced the ecu, so I hit "Write" button and selected the modded file.
Very slow 50seconds which seeemed years...I turned off after flash, turned on..Worked!! :clap:
EGR always 4% and swirls opened all the time.
