Hi!
We´ve built an BMW S63 T4 engine, pistons, conrods, huge turbos, etc. The goal is to achieve more than 1.000 hp @7.000 krpm. We want a flat torque curve until 7krpm, but not more than 1.000 to 1.050 Nm. Regarding to our calculation "calcu 1 khp" we need 2,5 barr (absolute!) @ 7 krpm with 150° injection angleto achive this goal.
Dispite whatever we´re trying, we´re actually limited to 900hp. Only by disabling the waste gate control, we´re doing a lot of hp, but with very bad torque in low rpms. Furthermore this is unaceptable, as nor a regulated situation what
On the first pic you can see a fiel with almost 900 hp, compared to a file we´re we fixed the WG to 86%. Fixing WG only 3 points more to 89% give us 3,5 barr, much to much, but this proves that mechanical setup, specially the turbos, is right.
Actually I think were limited because of´fuel. As the MG1 calculates in degree crankshaft, where I found a limit of 126°, this is the next limitation we´ll worke on. In the second picture "limit fuel @6krpm" you can find our calculation about the A/F limit. @ 6 krpm +/- 200 rpm, the torque always drops.
But as we found already so many limitations, I think there will be more to come.
What we need is an expert on this ecu who can help us to adjust the ecu software to make the engine deliver a flat torque curve as early as possible, not more than 1.050 Nm but up to 7 krpm. We have a lot of professional measuring equipment. As we have indicated zylinder 1 with a pressure sensor, we know the pV situation or crankshaft. So very change can be investigated and proved if it would be a step ahead. I tried to keep this first information short, please ask for further information by pm.
So please contact me if you can help us, and are interested in our project!
