Im a dutch technique-loving mechanical engineering student from the Netherlands,
Two days ago i've bought a new car; a BMW 116i with the 109hp 1.5 B38 engine.

It came to my attention that cars and their engines are modular built; e.g. the 116i has as far as i know the same physical parts as the 118i with 138 hp and more torque, just other software. I was wondering; is it possible to replace my 116i map with a generic 118i ECU map, and have my car run smoothly with little more power?
And is there maybe someone that can provide this? i have access to a functioning kess v2 setup.

A proper remap might be a next step, for now i think 138 hp is enough for me :)
