Hi ive found a tut and wondering if I will be able to use this on my edc17c19 to disable tprot once I've made a full backup using tricore adaptor with kess. Is it the same process as the tut below. Would be great if anyone knows the hex address for this ecu and confirmation of this process.

Tprot patch:

Read file by boot mode
Find string:
00 9334 8927 465 11068 ( edc17cp14 )
00 9334 8927 486 110680 (edc17cp20 )
00 9334 8927 459 11068 ( edc17c46 )

The most important its: "11068"
You need to change: "11068" to "0"
( example of modified string: 00 9334 8927 465 00 )

Now TPROT its off,...
Write modified file back to ECU, and you are able to read/write file via OBD
