Hello,
Today my friend wants to turn off his EGR, because he closed the egr but they did not remove it from the ECU.
So his car has start problems because of the egr. he got a lot of egr wanrnigs. so today i removed the egr from the ecu. reading writing everything goes well. but when i put the ecu in the car, it wont start anymore. the glow plug warning is also flashing. a proffesional did the file editing for me. but i am not sure if it is the file or the car itself. When putting back original file. the car works fine. but when putting the EGR off file, the car wont start and the glow plug warning is blinking.

Can a proffesional please check this for me because i am really worried if it is the file or the car.

I am using a genuine KTAG for this car.

your "ori" file is not ori but tuned with egroff (egroff in a way that kills dpf regeneration) and also it already has egroff but didnt make dtcoff

Yes, the car was tuned before but didnt had EGR off. so the egr off file, i turned off the EGR. so which file is wrong the standard file or the EGR off file. or both?

it already had egr closed by hysteresis on your file, it just didnt had egr dtcs
