PCR2.1 CAYA 1.6 TDI 75 map location

Postby Orel17 » Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:10 am

Hello,
I hope you are doing well.
Here is my first post to learn the engine of my Polo 1.6 TDI 75.
Since a few days I'm getting familiar with Winols and I would like to learn how to read and understand the cartography of my car.
I read the cartography with a Kess.

Here is the information:
HW CAYA
SW 03L906023E
MAJ SW 03L906023E 9971

Can you help me in the process to make an EGR OFF AND FAP OFF?

Thank you very much

if you're not using genuine device with virtual read, you need to unlock this ecu in boot before writing mod file (if already not unlocked by someone before)

This engine does not have FAP - it is ceramic based DPF only. Sadly you have post dieselgate SW version - there bit of work required there to gain lost horses back. This ECU requires patch to drop it in to Development mode - to allow it for flashing. Hope you not use china clones because bit risky exercise with crappy tool. For Mappack - do not be lazy - there Audi A1 mappack shared in forums - possible use it with bit of map searchning magic applied.

Hello, thank you very much for your answers.
What do you mean when you say "pacth".
The software was downgrade SW 99801 to SW 9971 with Autotuner tool.
Yes my kess works, I manage to flash ORI file with the tool, fortunately, the ECU was UNLOCKED thanks to Autotuner.
Thank you very much, I will look for the mappack of the Audi A1 on the forum.

Is it a problem if I do an EGR OFF even though the dpf is still on the car? I guess it will get clogged faster.

Thank you

Ok thank you for the answer. I read a lot of people saying Egr off must implicate instllation of a downpipe.

Great I found damos for Audi A1. I'll work with this file. It'is the first time I use a Kp and work on Winols, I hope to share good work with you ;)
