Grande punto 1.9 jtd 130 multijet request

Postby jaydr » Fri Feb 26, 2021 12:10 pm

Hi all

I have a grande punto that came with a map on it.
The problem is, the map has a popcorn limiter on it at about 4000 rpm and I'm hoping someone could remove it for me.

Could you tell me if the egr has been disabled and possibly how much power it is supposed to make?

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers
Jay

Without the ori file, you will not look. You can do everything.

The posted file is NOT ORI.

EGR is active.

Popcorn set at 4300RPM. Address in the file 1CC204.

The file is classic % tune job over the net for few bucks.

15% on torque limiter

9% on injection duration

7% on boost

2% on rail

Write ORI file in the car and drive it.

Thanks for that..

Ive spoken to the original owner about it, and he's adamant it should be making 232 bhp he's supposedly got the dyno graphs to prove it. If I get them I'll post them.
It has had a hybrid turbo fitted and hi flow injectors, the cat, mufflers and dpf have been removed as was the egr. He's had a look under the bonnet and says it is as he sold it so should be making the same power.

I got a working one as the EML was on. I wonder if somebody mapped it again for some reason?. So if I change the limiter, all should be fine?

Cheers

You wrote that - It has had a hybrid turbo fitted and hi flow injectors. That means that now you have ori turbo and injectors. So you can not make 230+hp

Here is picture of you current torque limiter

Oiginal 291Nm - 61Nm(friction torque losses) @ 4000 RPM = 129 Hp

% Tune 335Nm - 61Nm(friction torque losses) @ 4000 RPM = 153 Hp if you have enough boost and fuel to reach that power.

Thanks for showing me this, I'll put up some pics of what's under the hood if it'll do any good? That's a very poor tune in which case, I've heard 180bhp is quite possible from standard internals on this engine. Can't thank you guys enough for having a look at it
