Hello friends of ECU-tuning,

im coming from the BMW Diagnosis/Coding area and now starting some Remapping (Right now i have ECM Titanium and winOLS)+ flashing (KESS/KTAG). :?
I work as a professional Software Developer for embedded systems so hex files and microcontrollers are nothing new for me. :)
Im studying Engineering in Germany right now so i also earn some knowledge in deeper Electrical engineering and some deeper computer science.

My own car is a BMW F31 320d (11/2013) with already a having custom map by a commercial chip tuner in my town. (Must be about 215-230hp and 400-460nm). I actually dont know it.
Actually i cleaned the whole EGR and the AF-Pipes (Dunno in english) so my first goal is to disable EGR-Off myself and do some remapping with little increases (Stage1/Stage2).

Right now im struggling if i should grab the ECU out of the car, edit it and flash back on the ECU or just edit some .ori file from the Internet and flash it via KESSv2 (OBD-VR for this ECU).


I also own a Ducati Panigale and it would be also interesting to remap this thing. Actually its working over OBD with Kess. Quiet comfortable :D Lets see :shh:
