Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out why engine fans run when I start the engine even when it's cold.
This started after installing a straight through exhaust and deleting the DPF and EGR and all cats along with EGT and O2 sensors.
The only sensors I'm keeping are the EGT #1 and O2 #1

As far as I know my DPF solution is good however I suspect this issue is because the EGT sensors have been deleted. There are no error codes in the ECU.
Also are there any maps that need to be disabled when removing the NOx storage catalyst.

The car is a 2009 Jetta TDI CR140
CBEA Engine

I'm attaching original and mod files for comparison.

I've been trying to solve this issue for a while so any help is greatly appreciated.

DPF WAS NOT CORRECTLY REMOVED

I CORRECTED YOUR FILE BUT HERE IS WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO FIRST MAKE SURE THAT CABLES AND SENSORS IN YOUR DPF AND EGR ARE PLUGED IN AS ORIGINAL AND LEAVE THEM ALL PLUGED IN AND UPLOAD YOUR ORIGINAL FILE IN THE CAR AND SWITCH ON IGNITION DELETE FAULT CODES THAN UPLOAD THE FILE I CORRECTED AND YOU WILL BE FINE GOOD LUCK

Posting a follow up in case someone is wondering what the solution was.
The fans were running because of one of the EGT sensors.
When I plugged in the EGT sensor prior to precatalytic converter (brown connector) the fans stopped running.

If someone knows how to disable that EGT sensor in software please let me know.

Have same issu on a Vag and it was after TVA off ( v157)... with an crack software. Good if you find solution.
