Simple question for the more knowledgeable people here.

I have an EDC16U34. I wish to change VIN, mileage and reset the flash counter. Easy enough.
Now, is there a free tool/utility/program that can calculate the checksum for the ST95320 EEPROM?

Follow up:
1) Do I even need to correct the checksum? Or does it even matter on this EEPROM?
2) Can the checksum be calculated manually?
