Map locations for B5 Passat 81kW AFN

Finally decided to try and edit some maps, but first of all I have to find them all or at least those which I need to edit for better power... :)

Maps I've found and identified so far:

396C8 - Inverse Drivers Wish

049A6, OC9A6, 3C9A6 - Drivers Wish parallel maps?

01D80, 39D80 - EGR Parallel maps

03E52, 0BE52, 3BE52 - Torque Limiter parallel maps

Though I have problems with 05B94 and 0DB94, they both seem to be parallel and they look just like Smoke maps, but there's 3D9B2 and 0D9B2 which look almost the same and seems to be parallel and also 059B2 and 0D9B2 which also look almost the same as other maps mentioned above. What are these maps and which ones are Smoke maps?

Though I have problems with 05B94 and 0DB94, they both seem to be parallel and they look just like Smoke maps-NO, ARE N75 maps, but there are more 4 maps, but there's 3D9B2 and 0D9B2-N75 maps- which look almost the same and seems to be parallel and also 059B2 and 0D9B2-are N75 MAPS-TOTAL 6 MAPS- which also look almost the same as other maps mentioned above. What are these maps and which ones are Smoke maps?

Thank you for the reply, I corrected those MAP's, also I have made some progress in the past weeks.

Here is my current state of finding maps:

059B2, 05B94 - N75
06C26 MAP linearisation
05850, 0D850, 3D850 - Boost Limiter
05476, 055F2, 0D476, 0D5F2 - Desired turbo boost
019DC, 099DC - Drivers Wish
01D80, 09D80, 39D80 - EGR
03AE0, 0BAE0 - Engine Start IQ
03F34, 0BF34 - MAF Smoke Limiter
04470, 0C470, 3C470 - MAP Smoke Limiter
04F28, 0CF28, 3CF28 - N146
0730C, 0F30C, 3F30C - SOI Limiter
07404, 0F404 - SOI
03E52, 0BE52, 3BE52 - Torque Limiter

Are these maps correct? Also what's left to find to make a proper remap for max power?

Are these maps correct?(90%, see ????? Also what's left to find to make a proper remap for max power?-I think the first target is to make a decent and safe tuned file, and after you gain more experience,to try the ultimate goal-MAX.POWER.

I got some time today and invested it in continuing to find the maps. In the time I had I just corrected the maps you show me, here's the current state:

MAP Linearisation --- 06C26, 0EC26, 3EC26

Thank you for leaving some mistakes, it made me try to find the correct parallel maps myself and after that I found all the other myself :crazy: and used your advices just to check if I made some mistakes... And I didn't made any... :clap: The only difference is the start of the address, so it's pretty easy to find all the other maps when you find at least one of them... :)

About the "MAP smoke limiter", I've found on some forum(I don't even remember the name of it now) that very similar map looks like that and it was named like that... So I thought I found it, but after searching a bit here I never managed to find something about the map named like this... So I think it's totally not that. When what is it? I tried to recognize the units, but to me, they doesn't make any sense... Also the X seems to be wrong.

Now I've come to the problem, I do not know if I need any other maps to find to be able to do a remap? I will be using all stock components. If I need to find some more, could you lead me on the right way? :)

Also I think I need to start recognizing the units of the XYZ values.

I couldn't edit my previous post since the time expired for editing while I was writing the post... :D

Here's the current state of identifying the units:

Boost Limiter --- Z = Air Pressure, X= Engine Speed, Y = ??? - I cannot identify this one.
Desired Turbo Boost --- Z = Air Pressure, X = IQ, Y = Engine Speed
DW --- Z = IQ, X = Throttle, Y = Engine Speed
EGR --- Z = MAF, X = IQ, Y = Engine Speed
Engine Start IQ --- Z = IQ, X = Coolant Temp, Y = Engine Speed
MAF Smoke Limiter --- Z = IQ, X = MAF, Y = Engine Speed

MAP Linearisation --- I have no idea what it is and what it is used for... The X seems to be RPM thought... The Y is the percentages of the N75 duty cycle? So the Y GOT to be air pressure... But I do not know what it is used for anyway.

N146 --- Z = ???, X = ???, Y = Engine Speed. Z should be the voltage... The factor seems to be 0.01 and the precision 2, but the values seems to be too big, aren't they? I think there should be the offset involved. Also I can't identify the X.

N75 --- Z = Duty Cycle, X = ??, Y = Engine Speed

SOI Limiter --- Z = ???. X = should be crankshaft position or something? The unit is in degrees of course. Y = Engine Speed

SOI --- Z = ??? , X = crankshaft position? , Y = Engine Speed. Must be almost the same as the limiter, but the values are a lot different, why?

Torque Limiter --- Z = IQ? , X = Engine Speed, Y = ??

Use logic :)

Boost limiter - what causes boost? Injection quantity and the resulting exhaust volume.

MAP linearisation - this is a 2x1 map. What rpm? You're linearising a sensor readout in Volt to a numeric value in mBar. No rpm necessary.

I think you're confusing some maps there, you probably think MAP linearisation but actually mean N75 or requested boost.

N146 - Pump voltage map, RPM and IQ as axes, millivolt (with scaling factor) as Z.
N75 - again, what causes boost? ;)
SOI/limiter - Z = degrees BTDC when injection starts. BTDC = before top dead center. X and Y are rpm and? What do we want to control with SOI ;) Start of INJECTION, anyone?

Torque limiter: Z = IQ, x/y RPM + athmospheric pressure

Does somebody know where on this particular map the svbl is. Or does it has even svbl? :?: It would even help me to know for which value to search on this particular ecu file. Thanks

I have found it. Its on Adress: 3D234,5234 and D234. It's value is 1990 decimal.
